Travel Theme: Shadows
Shadow of the fiend….picture of Nellie in her buster collar taken last September after her close encounter on Sherkin Island with a Great Dane. Headless Sci-fi dog meets The Incredible Hulk with the pin head. (That’s me, not the Great Dane).
I thought you might also like to see what my talented nephew did with my photo…..
For a lovely collection of shadow interpretations by a Sherkin Island photographer, blogger, gardener, fudge-maker extraordinaire and crafter see: http://mahons.org/2013/02/05/shadows/
Thank you Ailsa for another great travel theme. See: http://wheresmybackpack.com/2013/02/01/travel-theme-shadows/

I love it
Thank You!
Clever Nellie being able to sing. Can’t say I recognise the tune tho
Trust she was able to dispense with the collar quickly – they don’t like them much do they !
She absolutely hated it. Poor thing, it drove her demented. She had a very nasty wound which took its time to heal. In the end, on the advice of a friend, we swopped the buster collar for a t-shirt. She was mortified of course but at least it prevented her from damaging the stitches!
Nicely captured! And too funny!
It makes me laugh too everytime I look at it, although I have to say , it is a most unflattering silouette of me!
Nice, I’m reminded of the feature length cartoon “The Point” by Harry Nilsson.
“Me and my Arrow”
I don’t know the cartoon but I remember hearing ‘The Point’ on radio years ago when I was a child and it really stayed with me.
It’s a wonderful story. The cartoon can be viewed on You Tube, “Arrow” has the same pointy head as your photo…
