In a bluebell wood

Last Sunday we went to Courtmacsherry Woods to see the bluebells. Courtmacsherry is a lovely little seaside village in West Cork. I had set heart on seeing a bluebell wood and knew the timing should be just about right. What is particularly lovely about these woods is that they are right on the water’s edge. On the day we visited, we were lucky to come across a bride who had returned eight months after her ‘big day’ to have some photos taken amongst the bluebells.  That made the experience all the more magical as we saw the little flower girls first so it was like coming across a fairy glade.

If you would like to see some stunning pictures of bluebells see here and here.
