Seasonal Remnant

Seasonal remanent

Seasonal remnant,

Pale and filigreed by time –

Summer’s lasting gift.

Like this faded hydrangea bloom, I am so last summer.

It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

There’s lots to report, including the loss of two beautiful ladies, my mother-in-law and aunt, who both lived into their nineties and whose memory will always bring joy and gratitude to our hearts.

Seasons have come and seasons have gone, mostly filled with work and the usual hustle and bustle of  life. I look forward to catching up with you and to sharing some of the more creative aspects of my life since I last dipped into WordPress.

(A note of warning, there may be a flurry of posts to come as I try to catch up with the comings and goings on Sherkin island. There are things of an artistic nature to report.)
