The upward perspective makes the fennel heads look like tall trees against the dying sun. How marvelous to put us in the faeries’ shoes! 🙂

Lovely photo, Patsy. By sheer coincidence, I was thinking about silhouettes earlier in the poetic sense as I found one by Billy Collins of that name and had written one myself a few years ago. Now to read both in the same breath, so to speak.

Thanks Dale. A dongle is a mobile broadband thingamajig…a pay as you go system…that is going nowhere at the moment, or at least, at a snail’s pace!! I can’t even view comments properly now so I will try again later. Px in slow motion…

Yes, moved! Absolutely happy with my new/old house…but it is becoming quite the money suck as old houses are won’t to do. No matter…when it’s gone, it’s gone. Like a dongle. What’s a dongle? Tell me again…

Hi Raye! Yes, all well. Hope life is good with you too. Have you moved yet? We’ve had lots of visitors coming and going but Sherkin Island is as lovely as ever. Struggling with Broadband though so it’s not easy getting on line. Will have to stop this cheapskate thing of trying to work with a dongle and invest in the proper stuff!
